Lions Sports Academy are happy to announce that we will be running a brand new cricket camp in partnership with Daneshill School at the school during May half term. The camp is the first cricket camp that Lions will be running and we can't wait to get started and to see lots of talented crickets out at the camp.  The camp will run on the 28th & 29th May and is open for anyone ages 7 to 13 (Year 3 to Year 8). Lions Sports Academy have agreed another school partnership for the school summer term, this time with Wimbledon High School. Lions will work with Wimbledon High School to help provide the school with a coach for Athletics & Strength & Conditioning.  The Lions coach will help run a session at the school every wednesday before school starts. This partnership is an indication of how Lions are starting to move in the schools industry further & further. This May Lions Sports Academy have partnered with St Neots Rugby Club to run two camps with them throughout the half term break. We will be running a Minis and Juniors camp with the club on Tuesday 28th and Wednesday 29th May.  It is great for us to be commencing our first camp with the club this May and we can't wait to get started and see a great turnout! The Minis camp is a mixed camp (Girls & Boys) for U9s - U12s, whilst the Junior camp will be split into two different sections. A boys camp for U13s - U15s and a Girls camp for U13s - U15s. From the start of the summer term, Lions Sports Academy have agreed a partnership with ACS Egham International School to help coach strength & conditioning at the school. Throughout the final term, we will be providing the school with a coach, who will help run a strength & conditioning programme at the school for the pupils. Lions Sports Academy will be running three separate age-group camps at Bletchley RUFC between 19th and 21st August. The three camps will be split into a Minis camp, Boys Performance camp and a Girl's Performance camp. All of the camps will run for three days. The Minis camp will be for those between ages U9 and U12, the Boys Performance is for U13 - U15 and the Girls Performance is for U13 - U18. Lions Sports Academy have agreed a partnership with Old Wimbledonians Cricket Club to help coach at the club throughout the upcoming season. Between the end of April & July, Lions will be providing a coach on Friday's & Sunday's to help coach the boys & girls at the club.  We are extremely excited to have agreed this partnership & cannot wait to get started. Harlequins Ladies soured into the Tyrrells Premier 15s final with a 26-10 victory over Loughborough Lightenings at The Twickenham Stoop. They will now play Saracens Womens at Franklins Gardens, Northampton, on the 27th April. This summer, for an extra £10 you will be able to purchase a Lions Sports Academy sports vest when sign up to one of our pre-season courses. With our pre-season courses running at various clubs throughout June, July & August, this vest will be the perfect attire to wear when training during the hot summer evenings. Fresh off her visit to our Easter Rugby Residential at Box Hill School, England World Cup & Grand Slam winner Vicky Fleetwood will be dropping in to take part in some coaching at our girls rugby camp at Old Reigatians next Monday. She will be coming along for a few hours in the afternoon on the Monday to see the girls and impart her knowledge of the game onto them.
