Developing New Skills at High Wycombe & Old Reigatians
Another successful week of summer camps has been completed after we visited High Wycombe & Old Reigatians Rugby Clubs last week. After every week of summer, so far, we have been delighted by the attitude and desire to learn from all the children who have attended our camps. Last week was no different as we entertained around 30 children, who were willing to listen to our coaches and learn new skills during their day on our camps. Despite the horrid weather, our Athlete Development camp at Old Reigatians for Junior Boys & Girls was played out in fantastic spirit and the children resp..

With the sun shining, it was the perfect way to get our summer programme, of over 15 camps in the next 7 weeks, started.  Our summer camps are always the highlight of the year for us and it was great to see so many children come out and have fun on both of the camps. There was a mixture of technical work and fun games throughout the camps and our aim was all about getting the kids to think about what they were try to do and to have fun, which would..

Lions Attend Head Injury Symposium at St Edwards School, Oxford
It is an ever-growing presence in sport & rugby in particularly. The talk of concussion in rugby is nothing that is new to the sport but the debate and worldwide perspective of it has certainly changed over the last few years. It is something that is taken far more seriously, especially in rugby where the size of players and the impact they have in the tackle or ruck seems to be increasing every year. This is why Lions Sports Academy are so fascinated and determined to improve and become knowledgeable in such a field. The impact of concussion on a player is something that can happe..
