Kensington Prep School Become Lions Latest Cricket Partner
Having already agreed partnerships with Danes Hill School, Finton House School & Old Wimbledonians CC to coach cricket with them this summer, Kensington Prep School became the latest partner of Lions Sports Academy. We are delighted that we will be helping the school with their cricket coaching throughout the summer term from April to the end of June. Ex England Cricket Legend Michael Vaughan To Attend Danes Hill Cricket Camp
Former England cricket captain Michael Vaughan will be attending our Danes Hill School cricket camp for a few hours on May 28th. Michael will be coming along to provide all the participants will some expert cricket coaching and provide them with some tips. Invictus Games Legend Martin Tye To Attend Guildford ADP Camp
Coming to our Athlete Development Camp at Guildford during May half term will be none other than Invictus Games legend Martin Tye. Martin Tye, is the indoor reigning rowing champion 3 years running, a six time Invictus games medallist and competes in disabled strongman events, currently ranked 2nd in the world. Martin has also broken the Seated Deadlift World Record - lifting 505kg!!! Amazing! Lions To Coach Netball At Finton House School Next Year
Lions Sports Academy are delighted to announce that we will be continuing our partnership with Finton House School next year. Having worked closely with them throughout this year, it is great that we will be able to continue to work closely with them throughout next year as well.  During this year's summer term we have looked after and helped coached the students from Finton House School with their cricket and next year we will be moving into Netball coaching to help the students with that. Aylesbury Secures Second Camp For Summer
Having secured a Girls Athlete Development camp for May, Lions Sports Academy will be returning to Aylesbury in July to run a three-day minis rugby camp for those aged 6 to 12 (Boys & Girls). The camp will take place between Wednesday 24th - Friday 26th July. This will be a non-contact rugby camp due to reguation 15 and it being the off-season for these age-groups. However, despite it being non-contact, we will look to teach the kids crossover skills that can be transferrable to other sports, not just rugby, and can be taught to the kids through fun warm up games. Summer Camps & Courses Venues Announced
The venues for our summer camps and courses has officially been announced. Our camps and courses will be split into three different sections throughout the summer: Summer camps, pre-season camps and transition courses.  All of our camps and courses throughout the summer will be fuelled by Coco Fuzion 100, the official rehydration partner of the England Rugby Team, and they will be present at all our events handing out refreshments and free goodies so that all participants have something to remember their time on the camps or courses.  The main headliners of the summer will be o..

Girls Athlete Development Camp Coming To Aylesbury RFC in May Half Term
Lions Sports Academy will be heading back to Aylesbury Rugby Club during May Half Term on Wednesday 29th May for our brand new Girls Athlete Development Camp. Lions To Continue Partnership With Horsell Junior School
Lions Sports Academy will continue our partnership with Horsell Church of England Junior School next year. From September, we will continue to partner with the school and send our coaches in to provide expert coaching for the school's after-school contact rugby club. Girls Box Hill School Residential Returns In August
Having had 20 girls grace the fields of Box Hill School in Easter, Lions Sports Academy have decided to run another residential at the school in late August. The residential will take place between Tuesday 27th & Thursday 29th August. Instead of being four days long, this residential has been reduced to three days but will follow much of the same structure as the previous one. There will be some new additions to the upcoming one with it being available to girls from 9 to 16 and there will be more of a focus on specific rugby skills and implementing them into a game situation.
