Lions Coaches Shine As Harlequins Ladies Reach Tyrrells Premier 15s Final
Harlequins Ladies soured into the Tyrrells Premier 15s final with a 26-10 victory over Loughborough Lightenings at The Twickenham Stoop. They will now play Saracens Womens at Franklins Gardens, Northampton, on the 27th April. The final will be a rematch of last year's final in which Saracens edged out Harlequins in a tightly fought contest.  It was a great day all round as Lions Sports Academy were represented by 4 of our coaches. Get Your Lions Sports Academy Vest For This Summer's Pre-Season Courses
This summer, for an extra £10 you will be able to purchase a Lions Sports Academy sports vest when sign up to one of our pre-season courses. With our pre-season courses running at various clubs throughout June, July & August, this vest will be the perfect attire to wear when training during the hot summer evenings. England World Cup Winner To Attend Lions Old Reigatians Easter Camp
Fresh off her visit to our Easter Rugby Residential at Box Hill School, England World Cup & Grand Slam winner Vicky Fleetwood will be dropping in to take part in some coaching at our girls rugby camp at Old Reigatians next Monday. She will be coming along for a few hours in the afternoon on the Monday to see the girls and impart her knowledge of the game onto them. Diversity & Unity At Lions Easter Residential
The first week of our Easter camps has come to an end and it was great to see so many kids attend our camp and residential at Ely Tigers Rugby Club & Box Hill School. The nature of our camp at Ely has already been portrayed with over 30 kids attending on both days and the fun atmosphere at the camp was helped by the good weather that we have been blessed with this week. Lions Support Guildford RFC Floodlit Tournament
It is crucial that children are given the opportunity to express themselves & have fun through sport. This is why Lions Sports Academy decided to support the Guildford RFC Floodlit Rugby tournament on Friday 5th April. The tournament for U7s - U9s, took place under the lights at Guildford Rugby Club & involved over 20 clubs. Some of the clubs to participate included Guildfordians RFC, Cranleigh RFC, Camberley RFC, Chichester RFC & Old Rutlishians RFC. Easter Camps Kick Off In Style
Our two week Easter camp programme kicked off yesterday at Ely Tigers Rugby Club & our girls rugby residential at Box Hill School in Dorking. With over 30 attendees at Ely & up to 20 on our four-day residential, this is a fantastic start to two weeks of rugby & sport.  The second & final day of our camp at Ely is coming to an end & it is great to see so many young, talented & hard working kids on show throughout the camp. Lions Returning To Windsor RFC This Summer
Having held our first ever camp at Windsor Rugby Club in February, Lions Sports Academy will be returning to put on another one this August during the summer holidays. Our camp in February was a fanstastic way to commence our parternship with a great club like Windsor.  In the shadow of Windsor Castle, Windsor Rugby Club is a tremendous setting to hold our camps & with the sun out during summer, we hope it will be bigger & better than last time.
