England Rugby Players Visit Schools Coaching Session
Yesterday, Lions Sports Academy had the privilege of coaching a schools rugby session at Chobham Rugby Club that was attending by three England players. We were given the opportunity by our partners Coco Fuzion 100 to coach 16 u12/u13 students from Ripley Court School & Solefield School.  The three England players to attend were Brad Shields, Dan Cole & Lewis Ludlum. Ellingham & Ringwood Camps Added To Summer Schedule!
Two more girls rugby summer camps have been added to our schedule and they will take place at Ellingham & Ringwood RFC. The two girls camps will be split into two different age groups, with the U11 & U13s taking place between the 12th & 13th August and U15s & U18s taking place on 15th & 16th August. Lions Renew Partnership With Harlequins Amateurs
Lions Sports Academy and Harlequins Amateurs have agreed to renew their partnership together for the new season. The partnership will continue to see Lions providing coaches on Sundays for the minis section of the club & to provide cover to help coach across all the age groups from U7s all the way through to U12s. May Half Term Camps Begin At Daneshill School Today!
Lions Sports Academy May half term camps kicked off today with our cricket camp at Daneshill school, in which over 45 children will be attending over the two days. The second day of the cricket camp will see a visit from former England cricket captain Michael Vaughan in the morning to talk to the children about his career experiences, before he begins his work for Radio 5 live throughout the World Cup that begins on Thursday 30th May.  We also have two more exciting camps taking place this week with our mixed Athlete Development camp taking place at Guildford Rugby Club & our Girls..

Lions Extend Coaching Partnership With St James' Boys School
Lions Sports Academy have agreed to continue coaching at St James' Senior Boys School next year. Having had a successful year coaching at the school, it is very pleasing that we will be able to continue coaching come the new school year. We will be sending in our coaches to deliver games sessions for the school throughput the Autumn, Spring & Summer terms. Lions Sports Academy are delighted to announce that we have renewed our partnership with North Heath Primary School for the 2019/20 school year. Having worked successfully with the school throughout last year in providing coaches for games sessions and after school clubs, we are delighted to have been given the opportunity to continue working with such a great school. Lions Enter New Partnership With Queens Gate School
From the start of the summer term, Lions Sports Academy have agreed a partnership with Queens Gate School in South Kensington to help coach cricket and strength & conditioning.  We will be providing a level 2 cricket coach for games sessions 3 days a week on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Friday. He will help teach the children valuable cricket skills and help them to improve their cricket ability throughout the course of the term. Guildford High School Athlete Development Camp To Go Ahead Over May Half Term
With just over two weeks until May half term, Lions Sports Academy have sprung a late suprise by annoucning that we will be holding an Athlete Development Day at Guildford High School on Friday 31st May. The day will be open to boys & girls aged 10 - 18 and all coaching will be performed by a women's rugby international, who has experience with coaching Foundation Strength & Speed Academy too.
