On Wednesday Lions founder Andy Jones will be sitting down with Harlequins and Scotland International, James Lang, to chat about his unconventional route into rugby.

James and Andy played rugby together at St Mary’s University, Twickenham, before James left to finish his education in Wales while playing in the Welsh Premiership side RGC 1404.

James spent two seasons in Wales before signing for Harlequins in 2016. After an impressive couple of years with Quins, where he now has 59 caps, his performances in the Premiership gained him an invite to Scotland’s summer tour of Canada, the United States and Argentina in 2018.

The discussion will focus on James’ journey, how he is keeping fit and motivated through the lockdown and advice for young aspiring rugby players.

"I am excited to sit down with James on Wednesday. His journey to professional rugby is a powerful one and I have no doubt that hearing it will help young aspiring rugby players stay motivated through these uncertain times" (Andy Jones, Lions Founder)
