First live online workout gets thumbs up
Last night was a landmark moment for us and a view on what life may look like over the coming weeks or months. It was great!
We had eight youth athletes - who are part of our Foundation Strength Online programme - join us for a live online workout.
Through these weekly group sessions we hope to motivate and improve their fitness at home.
The workout included a mobility section, where we loosened up the upper back and hips to warm-up. From here we went into a circuit style conditioning session which included upper body, lower body and core exercises.
Some athletes were exercising in the garden, some in bedrooms and in the front room; jumping, pushing and crawling energetically get a good sweat on!

The session finished with a front hover hold (straight arm plank) competition, with all athletes giving it their all and getting well over 1 minute 30 seconds each!
We were blown away by the feedback too - all giving the workout a huge thumbs up in appreciation. We even received this humbling feedback from a parent straight after the session.
