Foundation Strength is a youth resistance training course designed to improve movement through safe and effective training techniques in a gym environment.
Many parents may be concerned about their child lifting weights from a young age – what about puberty? Will it stunt their growth? or lead to injury?
The truth is that for those who are serious about improving their sporting ability, building strength has to be part of their regularly training.
Our Foundation Strength course has been designed by strength and conditioning professionals to develop muscular strength which will aid their skills development and athleticism on the pitch, whilst helping protect from injury. It is a careful, considered programme tailored to the ability, age and development stage of each child whilst being fun and engaging.
BENEFITS OF FOUNDATION STRENGTH
With a wealth of experience, we know how to get the best out of our players so that they can flourish on and off the pitch.
"I was recommended Lions Sports Academy by a physiotherapist. My son recently injured his shoulder while swimming. Thanks to their Foundation Strength and rehab programme he is back swimming again. The coaches are extremely knowledgeable and professional. I can’t recommend them enough!"
"My nine-year-old son, Jack, had an amazing session. It was a fantastic introduction to resistance training. It's really going to help build his stamina, strength and confidence. Jack had lots of fun and we both want to thank you guys for the session!"
