Overall Purpose of the Job

This role encompasses the full spectrum of operations, from recruiting and managing talent within the Lions Coaches Network to driving the expansion of our services across the South West region. If you are passionate about sports and education and have a strong entrepreneurial spirit, this position will allow you to make a significant impact on the community while growing your career in a dynamic environment.

Lions Sports Academy Overview

Founded in 2016, Lions Sports Academy is dedicated to empowering children and young adults to reach their full potential through active participation in sport and physical activity. We believe that sport fosters essential life skills such as teamwork, leadership, and resilience, providing a nurturing environment where young people can thrive.

Our approach operates through three core areas: partnerships with schools to integrate tailored sports programmes into their curriculum and games, Sports Camps that offer specific pre-season training and engaging activity camps, and innovative solutions backed by sports science to enhance grassroots sport. These initiatives are supported by our Lions Coaches Network, a collaborative community of professional sportspeople, qualified coaches, self-employed individuals, business owners, and university students who share a passion for developing young talent.

With a vision to expand our impact across the UK in the next five years, Lions Sports Academy is committed to creating inclusive environments where every young person can develop their skills, cultivate a love for sport, and achieve their goals.
