Hi, I’m Barney and I am the Midlands Area Manager for The Lions Sports Academy. ” Every School needs a Lion” and I can say that with much experience as a Director of Sport in both Senior & Preparatory Schools where I enjoyed the support of The Lions. I am now enjoying working with many schools and looking at supporting them with their Games or Co-Curricular programmes as well as developing and supporting coaches of all ages with their desire to inspire children and young adults.
I am a frustrated rugby player having hung up my boots, temporarily, to take on the Triathlon Multi-sport challenges as an athlete and coach. Having stepped away from working in one school community I enjoy all opportunities to support many schools and clubs with any advice, planning, coaching and refereeing opportunities.
