On this week's Talent Tuesday we would like to show off another of our fantastic coaches, Oliver Cascarina. Oliver is a brilliant coach, who has done some amazing coaching for us in our Athlete Development Programme.
We look forward to continuing our work with Oliver in the future. Oliver just led a taster session at Stoke Mandeville Stadium for our upcoming Speed Academy course that commences their on 25th February.

How long have you been coaching?
I have been coaching rugby for 3 years now, Community rugby coach at Saracens FC and Herts DPP Saracens academy pathway.
How did you get into it and why coaching?
I have always played rugby from 11 yrs old, and Michael Owen who played for Saracens Wales and the British lions, got me into coaching at Haileybury School.
Why Lions?
I believe lions has the best interest in young athlete development, combining the rugby skills with strength and conditioning gives young people the opportunity to have a carrier in sport. Also gives me the opportunity to use my skills in the right way and enhance my knowledge.

Coaching Goals?
My goal in the next year is to be coaching an adult rugby team for my development as a coach woman’s or mans.
My dream would to be coaching at a professionally level or have a strength and conditioning role at the professionally club.
Interests and Hobbies?
Keeping fit and healthy is my number one, i have moved from a conventional gym to a CrossFit gym and I love it. This also helps my development with different strength movements. I also support Arsenal.
Trapped on a desert island, 3 things what are they?
A sleeping as I love my sleep.
A knife to kills things to eat as I love food.
A water bottle to keep hydrated as water will keep in alive.
