England Sevens Tom Bowen Joins Us On The Lions Den Podcast

Tom, a winger with electric pace, has scored 11 tries in 10 tournaments on the HSBC Sevens circuit this season.

Tom has had an exciting path to professional rugby. He started off playing as a mini with  Lewes Rugby Club, Sussex, at the age of six.

He has also played in the Leicester Tigers Academy and for  Plymouth Albion, where he was awarded young player of the year two years in a row. After becoming top try scorer for Plymouth in the 2013/14 season Tom was called up to England Sevens.

Tom has also attended rugby camps and Speed Academy sessions with us at Lions where he has inspired lots of passionate young rugby players.

We will be discussing Tom’s journey to professional rugby, finding out what it’s like to be a Sevens player compared to the 15-a-side game and asking him what he has been doing to keep fit during the coronavirus outbreak.
