The School of Hard Knocks and Lions Sports Academy will be returning for another camp this Easter at Teddington RFC. Run over three days from the 9th - 11th April, the camp will combine Lions' extensive experience of technical & tactical coaching with SOHK's tried-and-tested method to develop a range of mental & interpersonal skills.
The key aims of the camp will be to help players become more active, develop & strengthen their resilence, build self-confidence & enhance communication & leadership skills.
Each of the three days will look to focus on different aspects of how the individuals can improve their day to day life skills. Day one will focus on Leadership and Teamwork, trying to build the DNA of a champion through rugby games & skills related to the topic. Day two & three will be focused on communicating and listening, whilst making good decisions. Being decisive, building a ritual & routine and learning to negotiate & compromise are all key areas that will be focused on.
Laptop, projector, mentoring bag including stationary, balls, bibs cones, rope, tackle bags/shields, hula hoops, good sized indoor space to do classroom work, a workbook for reflection
