Girls Box Hill School Residential Returns In August

Girls Box Hill School Residential Returns In August

Having had 20 girls grace the fields of Box Hill School in Easter, Lions Sports Academy have decided to run another residential at the school in late August. The residential will take place between Tuesday 27th & Thursday 29th August.

Instead of being four days long, this residential has been reduced to three days but will follow much of the same structure as the previous one. There will be some new additions to the upcoming one with it being available to girls from 9 to 16 and there will be more of a focus on specific rugby skills and implementing them into a game situation. At the end of the residential there is the hope that the girls will be able to put there skills into action in a match against an opposition.

As well as having the rugby to look forward to, the girls will also be able to enjoy some of the exciting activities that are on offer in the downtime. These will include movie nights, games & quiz activities and hopefully with the warm weather out, they will be able to use the pool.

The girls will also have the opportunity to learn some more Athlete Development exercises using bands & working on their strength, agility, power & co-ordination. They will also be taught about the benefits of nutrition and hydration when playing sport and how these can play a big part in allowing an athlete to play to the best of their ability.

It will cost £300 before 31st May and after the 31st May it will increase to £325

Don't miss out on being able to let your children having fun during the summer, learn new skills - both rugby & life skills, and make new friends!
